Reviewer: separate agent, fresh context
Reviewed the original brief, facts.md, both opening strips, both full and phone sheets, all twelve cut strips, every player-layout screenshot, the full-size HELLO, SYNC and CREATE stills used to resolve suspicious details, report.json and the Round 1 cue-check.md. No scene code or production notes were consulted. Scores describe the supplied visual and audio-check evidence; they are not a claim of having listened to the film.
| # | Result | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| D1 overlap | PASS | strip-en-02…07.png and strip-ko-02…07.png, all cuts from −0.133 to +0.233 s: outgoing and incoming copy stay separated by the wipe. sheet-en.png and sheet-ko.png, COLLECT 5.06/6.94 s and COMPOSE 9.14/11.48 s: card labels remain separate. |
| D2 phone | FAIL | sheet-en-phone.png and sheet-ko-phone.png, CREATE/END 29.30/29.95 s: the required repository address is reduced to a tiny line, about 7–8 px text at 360 px film width. It cannot be comfortably read or transcribed at the delivered size. This is destination information, not a decorative label. The main headlines and card labels are readable. |
| D3 hook | PASS | strip-en-00.png and strip-ko-00.png at 1.0–1.2 s: the bold black/violet two-line message is fully readable on the paper card, comfortably before 2 s. The early blank card is a brief entrance, not a prolonged lead-in. |
| D4 dead stretch | PASS | Both full sheets: HELLO gains caption/stamp between 1.31 and 3.19 s; COLLECT resolves its third card by 6.94 s; COMPOSE changes selection/symbol/caption by 11.48 s; SYNC changes bars by 16.17 s; PACKAGE gathers the stack and gains playback UI by 20.86 s; PLAY changes orientation by 24.75 s; CREATE gains address/sticker by 29.30 s. No pair of scene samples is identical, and no evidenced hold exceeds 4 s. |
| D5 blank/stutter | PASS | strip-en-02…07.png and strip-ko-02…07.png, all twelve cuts: each wipe advances monotonically, without an old-scene flashback or fully blank frame. Old material remains in place until covered. The thin strip of new background is a deliberate transition. |
| D6 pop/constant-speed object | PASS | strip-en-00.png and strip-ko-00.png at 0.0–1.2 s show the card settling and letters progressively revealing; at 2.0–2.2 s the star grows rather than appearing at full size. All cut strips show revealed edges of objects rather than a one-frame full-object insertion. The samples do not establish a constant-speed object slide. Interior spring quality is only partly evidenced, so Motion remains below 8. |
| D7 banned default | FAIL | view-en-phone-portrait-390.png and view-ko-phone-portrait-390.png, HELLO poster before playback: the violet dot beside GitHub has a conspicuous blurred glow. This is glow on UI chrome, explicitly prohibited by the rubric. The same treatment is visible in the 360 px, tablet and desktop views. The film itself avoids gradient titles and generic particles. Corner labels are acceptable here because this is a developer-tool topic. |
| D8 covered/cropped copy | PASS | Both full sheets and still-en-13-CREATE-29.30.png / still-ko-13-CREATE-29.30.png: settled copy has clear boundaries. Both 390 px phone posters keep the play button clear of message text; the 360 px posters are tight but still clear. still-en-06-SYNC-13.83.png and still-ko-06-SYNC-13.83.png show a partial third-line entrance, resolved in the 16.17 s samples; this is a reveal, not persistent shape occlusion. |
| D9 blurry scaled text | PASS | Full-size HELLO 1.31 s, SYNC 13.83 s and CREATE 29.30 s stills in both languages: letter edges remain crisp, including Hangul and the long repository string. D2 is a phone-size problem, not evidenced upscaling blur or extreme fitting. |
| D10 factual/brand strings | PASS | sheet-en.png, sheet-ko.png and full-size CREATE 29.30 s: Codex, $motion-graphic, v0.4.0, 128 BPM and github.com/JakeB-5/motion-graphic-skill match facts.md. Scene counters use the same seven-scene system. Both language versions preserve the command and address. Cream/violet/orange/mint match the requested sample art direction. |
| D11 sound | PASS | cue-check.md begins Round 1, lists all seven scenes with PASS cue-to-motion checks and reports one impact cue. report.json, both languages: peak 0.820; scene RMS 0.050, 0.107, 0.103, 0.107, 0.050, 0.105, 0.121. No scene is near-silent, peak is below clipping, and failures/errors arrays are empty. |
| Axis | Score | Evidence / why |
|---|---|---|
| Hook in the first 2 s | 8 | strip-en-00.png and strip-ko-00.png, 1.0–1.2 s: the large black/violet hook reads immediately, with a tilted card settling beneath it. No slow or empty lead-in persists to the 2 s deadline. |
| Readability at phone size | 6 | Capped by D2. sheet-en-phone.png and sheet-ko-phone.png, 29.30–29.95 s: essential destination text is too small, despite otherwise strong headline sizing. |
| Motion quality | 7 | Opening strip shows intentional settling and staggered reveals; all cut strips are clean. However, all six cuts use the same wipe and mask much of the next entrance. The supplied strips do not show enough uncovered interior motion to justify professional-level spring quality across the film. No D1/D5/D6 failure is being inferred from missing evidence. |
| Variety | 7 | sheet-en.png and sheet-ko.png, 5.06–11.48 s: COLLECT and COMPOSE reuse almost the same title-plus-three-cards arrangement. SYNC/PACKAGE/PLAY then repeat a left-copy/right-object structure from 13.83–24.75 s. Content changes regularly, so D4 passes, but color changes and new nouns carry too much of the variety. |
| Composition | 6 | Capped by D7. view-en-phone-portrait-390.png and Korean counterpart have glowing UI chrome. Film hierarchy, margins and poster button clearance are otherwise sound, though repeated card framing keeps it visually conservative. |
| Brand accuracy | 9 | sheet-en.png, sheet-ko.png, full-size CREATE 29.30 s and facts.md: correct name, invocation, version, tempo and repository string; the requested palette, bold typography and playful paper vocabulary are consistent in both languages. No conflicting numbers or ungrounded performance claims appear. |
| Sound sync | 8 | cue-check.md and report.json: every declared cue matches its motion beat, one impact total, RMS varies with scenes without silence, and peak 0.820 leaves headroom. None of D11’s measured or declared defects applies. This score is based on the required cue/level audit, not subjective listening. |
Worst three:
outro / CREATE–END — D2: the full repository address becomes microtype at phone width (sheet-en-phone.png, sheet-ko-phone.png). It is one of the explicitly requested ending messages. Give the destination its own larger two-line treatment, preserving the exact address, and reserve enough hold time to read it. The exterior GitHub button is useful but does not make the film’s ending text readable.title composition — D7: the GitHub status dot glows (view-en-phone-portrait-390.png, view-ko-phone-portrait-390.png; also 360/tablet/desktop). Remove its blurred halo and use the same flat ink treatment as the rest of the studio design. The screenshots do not expose an exact poster clock value; 3.19 s identifies the matching settled scene sample, not a measured poster time.story / COMPOSE, repeated through 00:25.31 into outro — motion/variety note: the second three-card scene follows the first with nearly the same layout, while every cut uses the same left-to-right wipe (strip-en-03…07.png, strip-ko-03…07.png; both sheets at 5.06–24.75 s). Make at least one major transition carry the source cards into a visibly different storyboard arrangement, and let a later object transformation remain uncovered long enough to see its landing. This would improve narrative continuity and supply visible motion evidence beyond the repeated wipe.Round 1 outcome: not ready under the rubric. D2 and D7 fail; Readability and Composition are capped at 6; Motion and Variety remain 7. Automated checks report zero failures, but that does not resolve these visual findings.
Builder fixes after Round 1:
github.com/JakeB-5/, each line 70 px, instead of the original single 39 px line. The ticket is taller and address appears at local beat 4 (27.19 s), giving about 2.6 s of fully readable hold. Exact address and link target are preserved.Reviewer: separate agent, fresh context
Reviewed only the critique instructions, original brief, facts.md, and Round 2 evidence. Both languages’ opening strips, complete sheets, phone sheets, every cut strip (02–07), all four phone poster sizes, and all eight interior-motion strips were inspected. Full-size PACKAGE and CREATE stills were checked for text sharpness. Sound scores below assess the supplied cue/level audit, not subjective listening.
| # | Result | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| D1 overlap | PASS | strip-en-02…07.png and strip-ko-02…07.png, −0.133 to +0.233 s at every cut: no text-on-text collision. motion-en-story.png and motion-ko-story.png @ 7.74–8.45 s: source labels clear before the new story labels appear; crossing cards do not create overlapping message lines. |
| D2 phone | PASS | sheet-en-phone.png and sheet-ko-phone.png, all scenes @ 1.31–29.95 s: every headline and supporting message is readable at the supplied 360 px scene width. The smallest opening caption @ 3.19 s and COLLECT caption @ 6.94 s are borderline in comfort, but decipherable. The command and wrapped repository address @ 29.30/29.95 s remain readable. Tiny decorative technical labels are not carrying the message. |
| D3 hook | PASS | strip-en-00.png and strip-ko-00.png @ 0.8–1.0 s: the complete two-line black/violet hook is readable on its cream card, well before 2 s. The brief blank card at 0–0.2 s reads as an intentional entrance. |
| D4 dead stretch | PASS | sheet-en.png and sheet-ko.png: the paired samples differ through the star/stamp, third source card, connectors/caption, active sequencer bar, assembled file, phone orientation and final address/sticker. motion-*-rhythm.png @ 13.04–16.64 s confirms sustained changes through the potentially repetitive SYNC scene. No evidenced hold exceeds 4 s. |
| D5 blank/stutter | PASS | Both languages’ strip-02…07.png, all sampled frames: paper wipes proceed in one direction without an old-scene flashback or accidental blank frame. motion-*-story.png @ 7.50–8.80 s maintains the source cards through the background/layout change. The initially blank file/ticket faces are identifiable objects, not empty frames. |
| D6 pop/linear motion | PASS | Both languages’ cut strips show staged reveals rather than fully formed object pops. motion-*-file.png @ 18.25–19.27 s shows stack convergence and a play icon that grows, overshoots and settles; motion-*-mobile.png @ 22.95–23.63 s shows the device changing proportions and settling; motion-*-story.png @ 7.74–8.45 s shows intermediate card positions and label entrances. No sampled object travel is evidently a constant-speed slide. |
| D7 banned default | PASS | sheet-en.png and sheet-ko.png, all scenes: flat cream/violet/orange/mint fields, varied card arrangements and type hierarchy; no gradient title, UI glow, generic particle burst or universal fade entrance. The small corner counters belong to the explicitly technical skill/demo topic. The star is a repeated graphic motif, not a particle burst. |
| D8 covered/cropped copy | PASS | Both complete sheets @ 1.31–29.95 s: settled copy stays clear of shapes and within frame. Both languages’ view-*-phone-portrait-360.png, portrait-390.png, landscape-740.png and landscape-844.png: the play control does not cover message text. At 360 px it is very close to the title, but the letters remain visible. Deliberate text masks and outgoing wipe occlusion are coherent transitions, not sustained cropping defects. |
| D9 blurred text | PASS | still-en-09-PACKAGE-20.86.png @ 20.86 s and still-ko-13-CREATE-29.30.png @ 29.30 s: large display text, Hangul, monospaced command and URL have crisp edges. Both phone sheets retain those contours at delivery scale. No visible enlarged low-resolution lettering or severely compressed message line. |
| D10 facts/brand | PASS | Both sheets, SYNC @ 13.83/16.17 s and CREATE/END @ 29.30/29.95 s: 128 BPM, v0.4.0, $motion-graphic, Codex and the two-line repository address agree with facts.md. The address joins to github.com/JakeB-5/motion-graphic-skill. Poster 30s agrees with the brief. Seven ordinal scene counters are consistent. The cream/violet/orange/mint art direction matches the requested sample rather than implying an official Codex palette. |
| D11 sound audit | PASS | cue-check.md begins Round 2, lists all seven scenes as PASS with matching cue/motion beat multiples, and totals one impact cue. report.json, EN and KO: peak 0.820; RMS per scene 0.050, 0.107, 0.104, 0.105, 0.050, 0.105, 0.121. No near-silent scene or clipping is indicated. Global transition whooshes are documented. This is audit evidence, not a claim that the mix was listened to. |
No defect cap is triggered. report.json contains zero failures and zero errors.
| Axis | Score | Evidence / why |
|---|---|---|
| Hook in the first 2 s | 8 | strip-en-00.png and strip-ko-00.png @ 0.8–1.0 s: a complete, high-contrast typographic idea lands early; D3 does not apply. It is confident and readable, though a restrained opening rather than a particularly surprising one. |
| Readability at phone size | 8 | Both phone sheets @ 1.31–29.95 s: the full sequence of messages, command and final destination can be read; no lost line or visible blur under D2/D9. Supporting captions are the lower limit of comfortable size. |
| Motion quality | 8 | Both languages’ motion-*-file.png @ 18.25–19.27 s and motion-*-mobile.png @ 22.95–24.31 s show progressive transformation, overshoot/settling and staged copy; all cut strips are clean. No D1/D5/D6 failure is visible. Repeating the same paper wipe keeps this at 8. |
| Variety | 8 | Both full sheets show a source row, asymmetric storyboard, horizontal sequencer, oversized file headline, device transformation and command ticket; motion-*-rhythm.png @ 13.04–16.64 s prevents the sequencer from becoming a static slide. No D4 hold is evidenced. The repeated transition is the main limitation. |
| Composition | 8 | Both sheets maintain clear type/illustration hierarchy and safe settled copy; all phone posters preserve visible title text beside the play control. No D1/D7/D8 problem applies. The 360 px poster’s tight control/title gap needs more generosity to exceed 8. |
| Brand accuracy | 8 | Both sheets @ 13.83, 29.30 and 29.95 s, checked against facts.md and the original brief: correct names, exact command/version/address, appropriate palette and bilingual messaging. No D10 discrepancy. The visual treatment consistently serves the playful studio brief. |
| Sound sync | 8 | cue-check.md Round 2 gives seven scene PASS rows and one impact; report.json shows peak 0.820 and scene RMS 0.050–0.121, with level variation and no silent scene or clipping. No D11 condition applies. This score is for the required timing/level audit; musical taste, timbre and perceptual balance were not independently auditioned. |
Worst three:
rhythm, repeated at 00:16.88 file, 00:21.56 mobile and 00:25.31 outro — transition repetition. Both languages’ strip-04…07.png @ +0.033–+0.233 s use the same left-to-right paper wipe. The clean execution passes the defect checks, but this much recurrence makes the later sequence feel more templated than the source-card transformation at 00:07.50 story. A second object-led transition, especially file into device, would improve the film more than adding decoration.title poster — cramped play-control clearance at 360 px. Both view-*-phone-portrait-360.png posters leave only a small visual gap between the button and the first title letters. Nothing is covered, so D8 passes, but the control and hero compete at the narrowest size. Shift the poster card/text slightly right or reduce the button’s footprint to give the title breathing room.title and 00:06.94 inputs — supporting copy is readable but undersized. sheet-en-phone.png and sheet-ko-phone.png show the opening caption and source-story caption near the lower comfort limit. They do not fail D2, but a modest size increase would make the message feel more deliberate on a phone without disturbing the strong headline hierarchy.Round 2 verdict: no defect FAILs; all seven axes reach 8. The three issues above are minor polish notes, not unresolved cap-triggering defects.
Two independent review rounds completed. Final scores: Hook 8 · Readability 8 · Motion 8 · Variety 8 · Composition 8 · Brand 8 · Sound 8. Every D1–D11 row passes. No upward score adjustment without a corresponding fix was needed.
Final automatic checks: zero failures, zero small-text or CJK-mono warnings, deterministic frames in both languages, seven layout sizes per language, touch playback and seeking passed. Audio peak 0.820; per-scene RMS 0.050–0.121. Korean and English MP4s are H.264/AAC, 1920×1080, 30 fps, 900 frames, 30.000 s; both passed packet/duration verification and full decoding with no errors.
No required defect remains unresolved. Minor polish notes from Round 2 are retained: several paper wipes repeat, the 360 px poster has tight button/title clearance, and supporting copy can be larger for easier phone reading. These are below the reviewer’s failure threshold and were not changed after the final review. The delivered exports match the reviewed HTML; fingerprints are in verification/exports.json.
